Why is my location not in the Current Extremes?

Modified on Fri, 16 Dec, 2022 at 12:15 PM

There are only a subset of stations which are fed into our current extreme calculation. They are usually MetService owned and regularly calibrated by our technicians rather than stations that are owned by a third party. For example the Wainuiomata station is privately owned by a member of the public. As a result, this data is not fed into our current extremes feed.
